Christmas 2022 Events

Well, what a series of Christmas events were put on by your club!

Firstly we welcomed the Ilfracombe male voice choir, who really got the Christmasssy feeling going with carols including the much loved favourites. Many of you then tucked into a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, mince pies, stollen bites, washed down by bar beverages, obviously! The choir enjoyed it so much, most of them remained for the rest of the evening, bursting into song every now and then.

Your club threw open it's doors to welcome festive shoppers to our Christmas Market Sunday morning, and they came in their droves! Many of your fellow members really put in some thought and hard work to make this pop up market absolutely beautiful, with Christmas lights, trees and Christmas decorations adorning their tables. There were generous donations from sale proceeds to Y-sail by several members too. The free mince pies and mulled wine helped coax people in from the cold, and a very enjoyable morning was had by all!

Saturday 18th December was the finale of the year with the Commodore's Christmas party, kicking off the festivities with a complimentary welcome drink on arrival. Fun, food, drink, music, singing and party games were on the menu with Christmas attire and the traditional Christmas raffle.

The Social Secretary, Commodore and officers of the Club would like to thank all members for their support throughout the year and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
